The 30th edition of the De Panne Beach Endurance is getting an extra sporting challenge. Belgium, the Netherlands and France will go head-to-head in the Battle of the Beach. Three countries, three team leaders, one goal: be the first team to cross the finish line.
Three countries, three team leaders
France is counting on Mady Rollandt, Michelle de Graaf will defend the Dutch colours and Lucas Van Deynze will lead the Belgian team.
Join the battle and become a domestique for your country
- Register through your team leader and get a €5 discount.
- During the race, you can support your team leader as a domestique. You’ll be racing for your own result as well as for your country’s honour.
- The country whose team leader crosses the finish line first wins the Battle of the Beach.
- After the race, all participants from the winning country will have a chance to win a great prize.
The battle continues after the finish
After the race, we won’t just look at which team leader crossed the finish line first. The performance of the full teams will count too. Which country brought the most domestiques to the start? And which team achieved the strongest results relative to its number of participants?
Based on these results, participants from the winning country will have a chance to win a great prize!

Michelle de Graaf 🇳🇱
Michelle is a true all-round cyclist: from road cycling and gravel to fixed-gear crits and beach races. Cycling is part of who she is. She works in the world of Live Slow Ride Fast and loves seeking out new adventures on two wheels.
The De Panne Beach Endurance is familiar territory for her. She has already raced it several times, with a 3rd place as her best result.
Up against the Belgian and French competition, Michelle will undoubtedly more than hold her own.
